Buckcherry set to rock Bike Week

Multi-platinum record, hard rock band Buckcherry will bring its high-energy sound to downtown Sandusky on Friday, June 5, as part of the annual Ohio Bike Week motorcycle rally at the Jackson Street Pier. The concert is one of the featured headlining performances during the rally's Downtown Block Party, which takes place along the Lake Erie waterfront and draws motorcycle enthusiasts and rock fans from across the country. Formed in Anaheim, California, in 1995, Buckcherry has built a reputation as one of modern rock's most energetic live acts. The band broke into mainstream success in the late 1990s with the release of its self-titled debut album, featuring the hit single "Lit Up." The song quickly became a staple on rock radio. Led by vocalist Josh Todd, the band became known for aggressive guitar riffs, party-ready anthems, and an electrifying stage presence. Buckcherry reached another level of popularity in 2005 with the release of the album "15." The record, which sold more than 2 million copies, featured several major hits, including "Crazy Bitch" and "Sorry," songs that remain fan favorites and concert staples today. Organizers recently announced Buckcherry as the Friday night headliner for the Downtown Block Party lineup, joining fellow rock acts Jackyl and Tom Keifer, who will headline Thursday and Saturday night concerts, respectively. Concerts at the Jackson Street Pier have become a signature part of Ohio Bike Week. Located along the Sandusky waterfront, the venue provides a scenic backdrop with views of Lake Erie while thousands of visitors gather for live music, motorcycles, vendors, and food. Supporting acts Burning River and Hard Pass are also scheduled to perform earlier in the evening. All OBW concerts are free. VIP areas are available for an extra admission fee.
