Teens found safe

FREMONT — The two girls missing from Ballville Township were found safe Saturday, and the man they were with was arrested on multiple warrants.Family members reported 15-year-olds Lauren Robles, of Fremont, and Rayne Kowpak, of New London, missing in the early hours of Wednesday, according to the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office. The pair were last seen in Fremont with Isaiah Daniels-Kelly, 18.After days of searching, Fremont police found the teens Saturday morning near Bradys Island in the Sandusky River, according to Sandusky County Sheriff Chris Hilton. Police charged the girls with obstructing official business for allegedly trying to get away from officers. "They were safe and unharmed and were taken to the juvenile detention center," Hilton said.Kelly was also charged with obstructing but hasn't faced any other charges related to Robles and Kowpak. He did, however, have multiple warrants out for his arrest from the Fremont Municipal Court.According to Fremont police reports, Kelly has been charged this year with illegal sexual conduct with a minor, domestic violence and several counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.Robles and Kowpak were not involved in any of these cases.
