Erie County to pave parking lots

PERKINS TWP. — Earlier this month, the Erie County commissioners approved a series of agreements with Kreimes Co. to complete parking lot improvement projects at several county facilities. The overall contract totals $20,700, covered by local funding sources, including Erie County's general fund/everyday operating budget. The work is intended to address routine maintenance needs while helping preserve the condition, safety and usability of these public spaces. Under the agreements, Kreimes Co. will provide services, including asphalt sealing, crack filling and striping at the following locations throughout the county: • The Meadows at Osborn Park in Huron Township • Erie County Courthouse in Sandusky • Erie County adult probation department in Sandusky • Erie County Municipal Court in Milan Township Regular maintenance of parking facilities is a cost-effective way to protect infrastructure investments and minimize the need for more extensive and costly repairs in the future. The projects are expected to be completed by Aug. 30 with minimal disruption to daily operations.
