75 years ago, 1944: Of unusual local interest is the world premier of the motion picture "Home in Indiana," which will be held at Seitz State Theater. This is the picture that was filmed in part at the Sandusky-co fair grounds in Fremont. A film crew spent 10 days in Fremont filming the 1943 county fair. Many Sandusky residents were present at the fair then the scenes were filmed.50 years ago, 1969: Tomorrow's the day for aviation buffs and father's alike. It is Sandusky Bay Aviation Club's annual Fly-In. Held at Griffing Airport, the events include a pancake breakfast, penny-a-pound plane rides, aircraft flyby and a parachute jump by the Sandusky Bay Sport Parachute Club.25 years ago, 1994: The name is Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan, and he's finally got a license to kill. The former star of "Remington Steele" was anointed the new James Bond, the fifth actor to play 007 since Sean Connery donned a white dinner jacket for Dr. No in 1962.
