Stanley named partner architectural firm

SANDUSKY — Schmid Architects recently announced the promotion of Brian Stanley to partner. Since joining the firm, Stanley has been "instrumental in advancing Schmid Architects' design practice through a balance of strong leadership, technical expertise and a deep commitment to client service," according to a company statement. "His work is defined by a thoughtful, solutions-driven approach, delivering projects that are both highly functional and architecturally refined," it added. "He has contributed across a range of project types in northern Ohio, bringing clarity, creativity and discipline to each engagement while helping elevate the firm's overall design standards, including prior experience with the design-build delivery model, which informs his practical, construction-aware approach to design." Stanley earned a master's degree in architecture from the Boston Architectural College and a bachelor's degree in architecture from Bowling Green State University. He's a licensed architect in Ohio and has a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certification. As partner, Stanley will continue to lead key projects, mentor team members and contribute to the firm's strategic direction and long-term growth. "Brian's leadership, design perspective and commitment to our clients have made a significant impact on our firm," firm principal Greg Schmid said. "His promotion to partner reflects the trust we place in him and the important role he will continue to play in shaping the future of Schmid Architects." In addition to his project work, Stanley plays an active role in "fostering the firm's collaborative and forward-thinking culture," the statement read. He's also engaged in the local community, supporting local arts initiatives that strengthen the region and enhance the built environment. Stanley resides in Sandusky with his wife, Amber, and their two daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his daughters' competitive gymnastics endeavors.
