RECURRING EVENTS Various locations • Biggest Week in American Birding: Birders will flock to this area of Ohio from May 8-May 17 to watch the spring bird migration. Black Swamp Bird Observatory in Oak Harbor will host the 10-day festival featuring birding, guided activitie, speakers and more. Sandusky • After School Snacks: From 4-4:45 p.m. every weekday, the Sandusky Library will host snacktime for anyone under 18. The program is supported by the Children's Hunger Alliance. Perkins Ave., will host this crafting club for people to work on their crafts outside of the home while being a little social. • Shorelines of Geometry: From 1-4 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from April 12-May 17, Sandusky Cultural Center at Sandusky High School, 2130 Hayes Ave. (Ohio 4), is hosting this art exhibit. • "Over the River, Through the Woods": Harlequin's Coach House Theatre is hosting its production of "Over the River, Through the Woods," at 414 Wayne St. Showtimes are 7:30 on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25; 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26; and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2; and 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. Port Clinton • Rooted Exhibit: Art from six talented artists honoring Mother Earth will be on display at The Arts Garage, 317 W. Perry St. from April 9 to May 3. An opening reception will occur from 6-8 p.m. on April 10. Exhibit hours are typically 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. • Ottawa County Celebrates America's 250 Years of Freedom- Traveling Exhibit: From May 1-May 30, this traveling exhibit honoring Ottawa County history for America250 will be at the Liberty Aviation Museum, 3135 E. Huron • Osborn MetroPark parkrun: Parkrun is a timed 5K walk/jog/run happening every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave. The event is free and open to all ages; people are welcome to bring their strollers or dogs. SATURDAY Oak Harbor • Fireworks Fund Reverse Raffle: From 5-10 p.m., the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting this fundraiser to offset the costs of the Independence Day celebration.
