Venice Road CVS closing

SANDUSKY — The CVS on Venice Road in the K&K Plaza will close before the first of the year.The store has signs up about its closure, which is scheduled for Dec. 29. A store employee confirmed the pharmacy location will close but wasn't able to say what prompted the closure."I know the reason, but I'm really not allowed to say," the employee said. "I can tell you it's not because of CVS."The store originally opened years ago when the plaza was known as the Westgate Shopping Center, before K&K Interiors Inc. moved into the location in 2014."We've been here a long time and we have a lot of good customers that we are going to miss," the employee said.
