Report: Man threw woman, threatened her

HURON TWP. — A man is behind bars after he allegedly threw a woman on Sunday and threatened her.Frank Brendle Jr., 29, of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, was charged with domestic violence, threat of domestic violence and criminal damaging. The charges are all misdemeanors. Deputies responded to Kalahari Resorts at about 10 p.m. for a physical domestic incident, according to an Erie County Sheriff's Office report.Brendle told deputies he argued with a woman because she was drunk and dancing around a room, the report states. He claimed the woman threw his cell phone at him and punched him in the face.The woman told police Brendle started the argument after she changed her phone password and he couldn't search her phone, according to the report. She said he allegedly threw her phone and broke it before he grabbed her and threw her onto a bed.The woman claimed Brendle then told her she was "lucky" he didn't kill her because he was "a boxer, or used to be," the report states.Deputies reported finding the phone shattered into pieces and bruises on the woman's arm, which she said was from being grabbed, according to the report.
