Prep report: Norwalk, Bellevue win to set up Lake Division title match

SANDUSKY — The match is set.With Norwalk's three-game volleyball sweep at Sandusky on Tuesday night, coupled with Bellevue's sweep over Clyde, the two teams will play on Thursday in Bellevue in a winner-take-all match for the Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division championship.Norwalk is 11-9 overall (7-2 Lake) while the Lady Red are 16-5 (7-2 Lake). On Sept. 18, Norwalk won in three games over the Lady Red.Norwalk swept Sandusky on Tuesday, 25-7, 25-18, 25-16. Claire Kelley was 32-of-35 hitting with 13 kills. Mya Neuberger added eight kills, while Kelley served 11 points, as did Carly Bilton (three aces).Also for Norwalk, Lindsey Koenig had 13 digs and Elyse Balduff was 74-of-75 setting with 29 assists.For Sandusky, Tia Knoll had 25 digs and Peyton Smith had two blocks and 15 digs. Gianna Colatruglio had 17 digs and two aces, and Kylie Sweigert had 12 digs.Bellevue 3, Clyde 0At Bellevue, Payton Vogel registered 18 kills, 12 digs and four blocks, helping the Lady Red to a 25-22, 25-12, 25-19 victory over the Fliers.Taylor Baxter added 15 kills and 11 digs for Bellevue (16-5, 7-2). Molly Bullion was 87 of 87 setting with 35 assists.
