Rex A. Brown

SANDUSKY — Rex A. Brown, 56, of Sandusky, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 27, 2018, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.He was born March 20, 1962, in Sandusky, to John and Mattie (Marshall) Brown. He worked as a cook for several local restaurants.Rex is survived by his wife of 35 years, Desarie Brown; four sisters, Diane (Robert) Traylor, Minnie (Bessie) Knight, Jackie Moore, and Jeanette Parker; three brothers, Paul Brown, Jerry Grant, and Mark Brown; daughters, Crystal (Willie) Beason, Shamorra Brown, and Sharee Russell; son, Demetrys Keahey; special nephew, Cash Brown; special nieces, Shina (Marcus) Clarke and Alisha Brown; godsons, Lamarius and Rico; best friend, Darnell Donald; 17 grandchildren, two special ones, Twanisha and Jamaria; two uncles; and a host of nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, John, Percy, Freddie, Tommy and Calvin "Flip" Brown; and sisters, Janice, Darlene, and Peggy.Friends may call from 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 until funeral services at 11 a.m., at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
