And rather than enjoy their time together as boyfriend and girlfriend, they stepped up their courage, and the men decided to propose to their now fiancées!Hearing of one proposal at Cedar Point is exciting — but hearing of two in one week is quite remarkable, especially when you read their stories.Ryan and NicoleRyan Woirol and Nicole Harper are residents of Orlando, Florida, and are in the midst of visiting eight amusement parks in 10 days, which includes stops to Cedar Point, Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Kings Island and Michigan's Adventure. They're all parks accessible with a Cedar Fair platinum season pass.Ryan and Nicole both worked at Cedar Point for a number of years prior to meeting in 2011, when she was one of the leads on the train platform, and he was an engineer on the Cedar Point & Lake Erie Railroad.Ryan and Nicole dated for seven years prior to getting engaged. When they planned their current amusement park adventure, and atop at Cedar Point, Ryan thought it was the perfect opportunity to propose to Nicole, where their relationship first began. When asked what is more scary, asking someone to marry you or getting you or your partner on a roller coaster, Ryan said "proposing was way scarier than getting onto any thrill ride."While Ryan and Nicole do not plan on getting married at Cedar Point, they do want to make a stop there on their honeymoon.Eric and AshleyEric Wolfe and Ashley Bush are residents of Northville, Michigan, and have been dating for about four and a half years. They first met while working at Nordstrom.Eric has fond memories of visiting Cedar Point several times each year with his father but lost a connection to the park when he lost his dad at age 15.After meeting Ashley, they discovered she shared a birthday the same week as Eric's late father. While emotionally difficult for Eric to revisit his childhood memories, the couple decided Cedar Point made a perfect date for her birthday. Eric's and Ashley's first visit to Cedar Point as a couple turned into an annual trip that now includes additional visits throughout the season, including HalloWeekends. When Eric knew it was time to pop the question, he began the planning stages in November. Through coordination with Cedar Point, Eric booked the Sunrise Tour, where guests walk to the top of Valravn to watch the sun come up over the park.As the 6:30 a.m. tour began, Ashley jokingly began to question how all the Cedar Point employees couple be so happy and bubbly that early in the morning. When the couple made it to the top of Valravn, the proposal went off without any issues, the weather was beautiful, and it was an unforgettable experience.[Insert Eric & Ashley Engagement pic]Eric and Ashley could not express enough how much the staff went above and beyond to make their special day memorable. When asked what is more scary, asking someone to marry you or getting you or your partner on a roller coaster, Eric said "proposing to Ashley, not the roller coasters."Plans for the wedding or honeymoon at Cedar Point are yet to be determined.Have your own romantic engagement or wedding story related to Cedar Point?
