Pulling up to Patina Porch

SANDUSKY — Last week, many people celebrated the three-year anniversary of Patina Porch, stopping down to the West Monroe Street venue and enjoying all that's offered there. Described as a destination bar and restaurant bordering the marsh of Mills Creek on West Monroe Street, guests "will find a laid-back public space perfect for meeting old and new friends or relaxing alone where you can enjoy the peaceful view of the marshland and wildlife of Mills Creek," according to a business statement. "We have a large patio space ideal for enjoying the sunset or some late-afternoon shade." Destination Sandusky — a program of the Greater Sandusky Partnership, a regional chamber — noted on its Facebook page how Patina Porch "is a beautiful example of vision brought to life, transforming a unique setting along Mills Creek into something truly special," according to a statement from the organization. "From the reclaimed wood and natural materials to the use of herbs and local ingredients, every detail reflects thoughtful creativity and care: It's a place that feels distinctly its own in Sandusky," it read. "Whether you're a regular or have been meaning to check it out, now's a perfect time to celebrate Patina Porch and the vision behind it. Cheers to their continued success."
