Author updated, expanded his Cedar Point book

SANDUSKY — Famed author and historian Ken Miller will be releasing an updated and expanded edition of his "Rolling Through the Years: A Cedar Point Atlas & Chronology" book ahead of the park's opening this season. Miller worked in the former Cedar Point Town Hall Museum for years, helping guests and bringing a huge historical knowledge base to the public. Ahead of the park's 150th celebration in 2020, Miller worked for years to curate historical documents and create a masterful document with amazing photography and maps, much of which had never been seen by a lot of people. Now Miller is back with an expanded edition of the book, building significantly on the original, featuring 450 pages and more than 1,600 photographs that document the rich history, evolution and cultural impact of Cedar Point. With 54 additional pages and more than 400 new images, the book offers an even deeper look into the stories and milestones that have shaped the park over time. The Merry-Go-Round/Cedar Point Historical Museum, located at 301 Jackson St., will host a special book release and signing event, scheduled from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, May 1.
