Local dealership captures national corporate honor

HURON TWP. — Brothers Eric and Mark Halleen of Halleen Kia are being recognized by Kia America as one of only 50 dealers in the U.S. to earn a spot in the brand's prestigious President's Club. Taking into account dealership performance from 2025, this marks the 11th time that Halleen Kia has received President's Club honors. Halleen Kia provides dealerships in the Sandusky area, near Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, and North Olmstead. No matter the location, they're "dedicated to conducting business in a way that promotes the highest principles of integrity," according to a dealership statement, noting it offers a large selection of both new Kia vehicles and pre-owned cars, trucks and SUVs. Selected from the network of nearly 800 retailers, the Kia President's Club recognizes dealers who achieve the highest overall sales volume and provide outstanding customer satisfaction. "This award is special to us. It not only shows that our team works very hard each day to deliver extraordinary service," Eric said. "It also makes us grateful to the customers we serve, whose positive feedback and support made winning the President's Club Award possible." Sean Yoon, the president and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America, heaped praise on the brothers.
