MILAN — This year, people can visit Milan, which is participating in the America 250 festivities with a series of special events. Here are scheduled events for the rest of 2026: • 6 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at Milan Public Library — Transportation and the Milan Canal, featuring guest speaker Judith Horchler • 7 p.m. on Friday, May 15 at Milan Town Hall in Milan Village Square — A Night at the Movies With Mr. Edison • 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 at Milan Public Library — scavenger hunt • 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 14 at Galpin Nature Trail on Seminary Road — Ohio Outdoors: Exploring Ohio's Natural Resources event • 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, July 12 at Milan Village Square — summer antique show • 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, July 26 at Milan Village Square — picnic, Model T Car Club and barbershop quartet • 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 at Milan Village Square — Erie County Farm Bureau classic tractor cruise-in • 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20 at Edison High School — vintage baseball game with the Squires taking on an Edison alumni team • 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11 at The Milan Museum — Ohio Grows: Food & Farms - Hoover Potato Digger • 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22 at Milan fire stations 1 and 2 — Chili cook-off, fire safety and tours • 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Milan Public Square — community-wide caroling.
