Cedar Point gate tickets to exceed $100

SANDUSKY — For the first time in Cedar Point's history, a single-day entry ticket to the park when purchased at the gate will exceed $100. Since 2000, a daily ticket to Cedar Point has incrementally increased: From $38 to a $105 in 2026, a 176% increase over this quarter-century time frame. However, no one should ever pay that price because purchasing online typically saves at least 50%. For example, daily tickets are currently sitting at $52. Beyond that, anybody visiting the park for two or more days should greatly consider the season pass programs. Depending on the benefits a guest may want, passes start at $99 and go all the way up to $300. Looking ahead to the new season Cedar Point remains one of the most coaster-focused parks in the world, boasting 18 roller coasters and dozens of other rides. Guests returning in 2026 can expect to ride many legendary attractions, including: • Millennium Force • Steel Vengeance • Maverick • Valravn • Top Thrill 2 Another relatively new highlight is Siren's Curse, which debuted in 2025 as North America's tallest, fastest, and longest tilt coaster. The ride reaches speeds of about 58 mph and features a dramatic tilting track segment before its drop, creating one of the park's most unique experiences. Cedar Point will officially open for the 2026 season on May 9, marking the start of a summer filled with rides, entertainment, and seasonal celebrations. The adjacent Cedar Point Shores Waterpark will begin its season later in the month, opening on May 23 and running through Aug. 31.
