Police: Woman punched, bit man

PERKINS TWP. — A Perkins woman faces a host of charges after she allegedly attacked a man Tuesday.Police arrested Breanna L. Ray, 22, of the 2600 block of Eastwood Drive, with felonious assault, aggravated menacing, persistent disorderly conduct and domestic violence.Police dispatchers were notified at about 5:43 p.m. of a woman hitting a man and that she might have a knife. When officers arrived, they saw Ray "charging" at a 72-year-old man, according to a Perkins police report.The man pushed Ray away from him and officers stepped in to separate the two. Ray then allegedly started to yell and swear at officers, according to the report.Ray told officers she had three beers before the altercation began. The man and another witness said Ray had been "drinking all day" and when they tried to take the alcohol away she began to attack him, the report read.The man said Ray punched, scratched and bit him "all over his body" and alleged Ray threatened to stab him with a knife. He added he did not see her holding a knife during the fight.Ray then allegedly threw a metal bowl at the man's side, causing some bruising.She was taken to the hospital for cuts around her mouth that occurred during the altercation.
