Huron • Osborn MetroPark parkrun: Parkrun is a timed 5K walk/jog/run happening every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave. The event is free and open to all ages; people are welcome to bring their strollers or dogs. SATURDAY Huron • Cooking demo with Chef Andy: From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Chef's Garden, 1517 Scheid Road, is hosting Chef Andy for a fresh-from-the-farm cooking demonstration. • Springtime in the Nature Center: From noon to 1 p.m., room 110 of Roger Johnson Nature Center at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave., is hosting a program exploring spring at the park. It will include fun facts about flowers and spring animals — including some you can meet — along with flower crafting. SUNDAY Castalia • Yoga with bunnies: At 2:30 p.m., visit Downs on the Farm, to snuggle some bunnies while practicing yoga. Proceeds from the event will go to the on-site bunny sanctuary. Norwalk • Anything Can Happen chorale concert: Starting at 4 p.m., Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center, 350 Shady Lane Drive, is hosting the Firelands Symphony Orchestra Chorale for a celebration of 100 years of Broadway. Hear the sounds of Rodgers and Hammerstein to "Wicked" and beyond. Tickets are $35 for adults and $5 for students. Elmore • Edwardian Tea Party: From 2-4 p.m., join Schedel Arboretum & Gardens, 19255 W. Portage River S Rd., which is hosting Tea Time Tiffin for an authentic Edwardian tea party. There will be an etiquette and history lesson based on period literature, and after the tea party there will be a guided tour of the gardens and a prize for best hat. Sandusky • Mini Movers: From 9:30-10 a.m., babies and toddlers under age 2, their siblings and their guardians can join the Sandusky Library, 114 W. Adams St., for 15 minutes of books, song and active rhymes followed by play and social time. • Linking Land to Lake - The Impact of The Milan Canal: From noon to 1 p.m., the Sandusky Library program room, 114 W. Adams St., is hosting a presentation on when the Milan Canal transformed a quiet farming village into an industrial and cultural hub. Hear from those with the Milan Museum on the impact and legacy of the canal. Port Clinton • Heritage Trees - Planting History: From 11 a.m. to noon, the Ottawa County-America 250 Committee is planting a native Ohio white oak tree gifted to them from America 250 Ohio outside the Ottawa County Courthouse, 315 Madison St. WEDNESDAY Marblehead • Earth Day Beach Clean Up at East Harbor State Park: Starting at 10 a.m., visit East Harbor State Park, 1169 N. Buck Rd. (Ohio 269), for a cleanup event coinciding with Earth Day. Gloves, bags and litter grabbers will be provided. Meet at the beach bath house. Elmore • Earth Day Bike Ride: From 5-6:30 p.m., the Ottawa County Parks District at Depot Park, 353 Maple St., invites people to a guided bike ride on the North Coast Inland Trail. It's about 5 miles long, all ages and abilities are welcome. Registration is required and a link can be found on the Ottawa County Park District's Facebook page. Milan • Nature Baby - Earth Day: From 10 a.m. to noon, Milan Towpath MetroPark, 99 N. Main St., will celebrate Earth Day with Miss Cheryl. There will be a story read, songs sung and a short walk. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
