Naturyl Ink and Aesthetics arrives to Sandusky

SANDUSKY — In November, Kerry Anstead opened Naturyl Ink and Aesthetics, 124 E. Market St., in downtown Sandusky, for the girlies to have a place to go. Anstead, an experienced business owner, felt called to the waterfront. She expressed, "I really wanted to be a part of downtown lake life," and that vision came to life in her new space. Starting with permanent makeup, her salon has expanded to offer fine line tattoos, permanent jewelry, piercings, spray tans and will offer the addition of med spa services in the future. With her favorite service being fine line tattoos, she wants anyone wanting a tattoo to feel welcome at her space. Anstead prides her salon on being a safe space, especially for the girls to not only give them a service but a full experience. She offers a dirty soda bar, which allows guests to pick out a soda flavor, add creamer or other syrup flavors and enjoy. Every detail is designed to make her clients feel relaxed, seen and taken care of. Looking ahead, Anstead hopes to throw more events and continue collaborating with other Sandusky small businesses. With this summer being her first, she hopes to establish herself within the Sandusky community and get to know people. Naturyl Ink & Aesthetics is more than a trendy salon, but a place where connection community and confidence thrive. "I think Sandusky has something really special here," Anstead said.
