Get ready for Run for the Roses

BERLIN HEIGHTS — The Fisher-Titus Foundation recently announced details for the inaugural Run for the Roses Night at the Races, a Kentucky Derby-inspired fundraising event, set for Friday, May 8. Proceeds from the event will directly support the acquisition of a new state-of-the-art MRI system to enhance diagnostic imaging services for patients served by Fisher-Titus. "This is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, have a fantastic evening and make a real difference for patients right here at home," said Alexis Danhoff, Fisher-Titus Foundation manager. "We are so excited to kick off what we hope will become a beloved annual tradition." The foundation is the philanthropic arm of Fisher-Titus, dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the community it serves. Through charitable giving, events and community partnerships, the foundation supports programs, services, equipment and facilities that enhance the quality of care provided by Fisher-Titus. Bio blast Run for the Roses is designed to bring the community together for an exciting evening of simulated horse racing, entertainment and the opportunity to support local health care. Guests are encouraged to wear their finest derby outfits and hats as they cheer on their favorite horses. The event will take place from 5:30-9 p.m. on May 8 at The Farm 1893, 12211 Berlin Road, Berlin Heights. Registration is required to attend this event. Attendees can look forward to an evening that includes: • Horse races, live entertainment, a photo booth and a live auction • Traditional southern fare • Cocktails like mint juleps and margaritas • A meet-and-greet with Fisher-Titus staff, board members, leadership and fellow community members What it supports All proceeds from the Run for the Roses event will benefit the Fisher-Titus Foundation's campaign to fund a new MRI system for Fisher-Titus, a project costing $1.2 million. Advanced MRI technology allows physicians to detect and diagnose a wide range of conditions, from neurological disorders and orthopedic injuries to cancer and cardiovascular disease, with greater precision and detail. The new MRI system will expand the community's access to high-quality imaging services, reduce wait times and improve outcomes for patients throughout Huron County and the surrounding region.
