BELLEVUE — Richard D. "Pete" Greene, 55, of Bellevue, passed away early Monday morning, Aug. 29, 2016, in his home.He was born Oct. 13, 1960, in Johnson City, Tenn.He was employed at Whirlpool for many years.Pete loved to fish, hunt and garden. He enjoyed being with his grandchildren, spending time with his friends and family, hosting cookouts, camping, and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan.Pete is survived by his wife of 36 years, Alesia (Alvarez) Greene; children, Suncia Greene and Richard Greene; grandchildren, Savannah, Eithyn, Pavlos and KatiJane; father, Jack (Bonnie) Greene; sisters, Trish (Erney) Lewis of Clyde and Brenda "Bo" Greene of Sandusky; and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida (Honeycutt) Greene.Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate.
