Welcome to the Home & Remodeling Expo

HURON TWP. — The Erie County Home & Remodeling Expo is back for another year this weekend. Happening Friday through Sunday and hosted by the Erie County Homebuilders Association, the event, as always, seeks to connect "homeowners with reputable local professionals while supporting the building industry." It'll bring more than 60 home and building professionals to Sawmill Creek by Cedar Point Resorts, 400 Sawmill Creek Drive W. And, as always, the event has free entry. "Ready to kickstart a home project, or just looking for ideas," the group posted on Facebook. "Whether you are planning a remodel, exploring new construction options, refreshing your interior style, or dreaming up an outdoor upgrade, you will be able to compare ideas, see products and services, and talk directly with trusted local experts — contractors, remodelers, specialty contractors, suppliers, realtors, lending institutions and industry affiliates." Daily schedule People can visit the Home Design and Remodeling Expo on: • Friday, March 27, from 1-7 p.m. • Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. • Sunday, March 29, from noon to 4 p.m. Here's a look at some more specific events happening each day: • 102.7 WCPZ is hosting a live radio broadcast from the expo floor from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday • Kid's Build/Lowe's Workshop: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday • Red Cross Blood Drive: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday in the resort's Wildflower Rooms.
