Fisher-Titus expands in Erie County

PERKINS TWP. — Fisher-Titus is expanding its presence in Erie County with the opening of a new, multispecialty office — providing comprehensive general surgery, digestive health and pediatric services — in the NOMS Healthcare Sandusky building, 2500 W. Strub Road, Sandusky. Going forward, it'll be known as Fisher-Titus Sandusky. "These three physician practices address real health care needs in the Sandusky area," said Brent Burkey, Fisher-Titus' president and CEO. "Quality specialty care should be accessible, and this location helps us deliver that for local families." What patients should know: • Digestive health services recently began seeing patients. General surgery services began this week. Pediatrics should be available in the coming weeks. • Digestive health services will be provided by Dr. Muhammad Talal Sarmini and Dr. Mohamad Mouchli, both gastroenterologists offering advanced, individualized care for conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. They provide care from routine colonoscopies to managing chronic digestive conditions. Digestive health will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Mourany performs a wide range of procedures, including appendectomies, hernia repairs and surgical treatment of the digestive system, gallbladder, pancreas, breast and other organs. At this location, he will provide pre- and post-operative care, consultations and follow-up appointments. General surgery will be available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays.
