Another storefront hopes to open soon

CLYDE — Ski Lodge Winery is the newest addition to historic Clyde.Mike Golembiowski, the owner of the winery, hopes to open a winery storefront on Main Street within a month or two.Golembiowski's business grew in the two years he has been making wine. He realized he needed a venue to sell his bottles and introduce the community to his wine. That led him to open The Ski Lodge Winery.The winery is unique for its use of natural ingredients:"We're the only known winery in the United States to use 100 percent spring water only," Golembiowski said. "There are fewer chemicals to tend with and it makes for a cleaner, fresher tasting wine."Golembiowski made sure the atmosphere of his winery is as full of flavor as the wine they sell. The winery created an environment unique to the area:"We've been visiting as many yard and garage sales can find around Clyde," Golembiowski stated. "The majority of our interior decorations will be purchased from our community neighbors." Golembiowski hopes the Ski Lodge Winery will foster growth of businesses in the area. The winery is open to partnerships with local business that would enable them to feature each other."We'll be located within a 5-minute walking distance of over 50 town stores and venues," Golembioski said. "So there is plenty to see and experience in our community."The Ski Lodge Winery provides the public with access to great wines while broadening the horizon of Clyde's cultural and economic scale.
