BERLIN HEIGHTS — Darryl Glenn Young, 54, of Berlin Heights, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2016.He was born April 22, 1962, in Sandusky to Herman "Red" Young Jr. and the late Charlotte G. Young.Darryl attended Edison High School and later obtained his GED from Norwalk High School. He utilized his great work ethic as a laborer on many painting and construction projects. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, riding his bike, going fishing and spending time with his family.He is survived by his father, Herman "Red" Young Jr.; six siblings, Linda (Mark) Hunter of Indianapolis, Ind., Ron Young of Berlin Heights, Connie (Robert) Ray of Louisville, Ky., Cheryl (Terry) Hall of Collins, Herman (Cindy) Young III of Norwalk and Rebecca Young of Charlotte, N.C.; his grandmother, Josephine Leber; stepmother, Ethyl Young; his best friend, Beverly Bellamy; many aunts, uncles and other relatives.Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Morman-Hinman-Tanner Funeral Home, 38 South St., Berlin Heights. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. Monday, July 11, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
