Inn invokes 'Inspiration'

OAK HARBOR — Those representing the Ottawa County Improvement Corp. and the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce recently visited with Abby Heckman, owner of Inspiration Inn Bloom, who welcomed them for a full tour of what they called a "truly special destination." Located in Oak Harbor, "Inspiration Inn Bloom is truly one of those hidden-gem experiences — literally," according to a corporation statement. "Tucked away on 53 wooded acres, the 7,200-square-foot bed-and-breakfast-crafting retreat opened in 2013 and now features 26 beds across its spaces, the statement read. "What began as a unique getaway has grown into a sought-after retreat, welcoming guests from 29 states and Canada. Abby also shared details on the expansion to a second house, the Lodge — a self-serve stay option for private groups of up to 12 people." The statement continued: "Blending creativity, relaxation and hospitality, Inspiration Inn Bloom is a destination you wouldn't expect to find right here in our backyard. Huge thanks to Abby for the tour and for creating such a one-of-a-kind getaway."
