Port Clinton • Unique and Bold Art that Starts a Conversation: From 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday – Sunday, at the Arts Garage, located at 317 Perry Street. The Arts Garage is over the moon about our February exhibit "Unique and Bold ART that Starts a Conversation" that features the amazing and whimsical works of TAG's own studio artists, Bren Clixby and Douglas Lee. • Afternoon Storytime: From 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. every Thursday at Ida Rupp Public Library located at 310 Madison Street. Join the book bar for a trivia night themed around the popular show "Stranger Things." Visit sanduskybookbar.com for more information. • Planetarium Show: Beginning at 7 p.m., at the Sydney Frohman Planetarium, located at 2130 Hayes Avenue. Join for a Planetarium / Telescope Night. Visitors will meet in the planetarium and will have a presentation on the Orion Constellation. A visit to the Sandusky High School Observatory to view Theta Orionis Nebula through the telescope hosted by Mr. Mitch Luman to follow. All visitors for the telescope must be able to climb a few flights of stairs. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a weather dependent event. In the case of cloudy skies, the full dome movie "Between Two Pieces of Glass" will be shown. There is no cost to attend and the even is geared towards those 6 years of age or older. • Sip & Sea- Nautical Paint Night: From 6 – 8 p.m., at the Maritime Museum located at 125 Meigs Street. Set sail for an evening of creativity to a nautical-themed paint night. Led by Darian Shepherd of UNDRSTR , this guided class is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike. Darian will take you step-by-step as you create a stunning maritime-inspired masterpiece in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. BYOB (beer & wine only) with light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages provided to keep you refreshed as you paint and enjoy the museum's historic ambiance. The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let's gather together for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it's cold out there. Gather at Mylander Pavilion at 4 p.m., walk at 5 p.m., and a meal to follow. Huron • iNaturalist Identification Citizen Science Workshop: From 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., at the Roger Johnson Nature Center located inside Osborn MetroPark at 3910 Perkins Avenue. Join Erie MetroParks, the Ohio Division of Wildlife, and the Firelands Audubon Society for an exciting iNaturalist Identification Workshop. This is a fun, hands-on citizen science event where nature lovers help identify plants and wildlife from real observations. An Identification Workshop brings people together to review and identify photos and sounds uploaded to iNaturalist, a global platform that helps scientists and conservationists better understand biodiversity. By adding or confirming identifications, participants contribute valuable data used for research, conservation, and wildlife management, no experience required. Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or brand new to iNaturalist, this is a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and make a real impact for local habitats and wildlife. There is no cost to attend. • Dueling Pianos- A Benefit Fundraiser for Firelands Positive People: Beginning at 5:30 p.m., at Mesenburgs Plaza Place located at 545 Cleveland Road West. Bellevue • Tallow Lotion Workshop: From 10 a.m. – noon, at Cherry City Honey located at 1000 CR 312.
