Child rapist guilty on all counts | Sandusky Register astolfi@sanduskyregister.com Jurors found a Sandusky man guilty on two dozen counts of rape Friday for abusing a girl for most of her childhood. Michael Walls, 51, is now facing the possibility of multiple life sentences. The jury deliberated for less than a full day, and returned with their guilty verdicts early Friday afternoon. The verdicts came after nearly two weeks at trial. During that time, Walls' victim, now 19, provided graphic testimony about the abuse. Defense attorney Jack Bradley tried to chip away at her credibility last week, but the teen stood firm and maintained her story. "(The teen) had the strength and courage to come forward and face her abuser, which is a difficult thing to do," said assistant Erie County prosecutor Pamela Gross. "She's come a long way, and I think she said it best herself. She was 16 when she finally got the strength to report (the abuse) and it was through the help of counseling and very caring
