astolfi@sanduskyregister.com Details are continuing to emerge in Sunday's murder-suicide on Fallen Timber Drive.The bodies of Angela Tierney, 31, and Raphael "Ray" Greaves, 36, were examined at the Lucas County Coroner's Office on Monday.Police hope the autopsies will reveal more about the circumstances that led up to Sunday morning's gunfire.Greaves shot Tierney at about 1 a.m., and then turned a 357 Magnum revolver on himself, Sandusky police Detective Jon Huffman said.In a 911 call, Tierney can be heard telling dispatchers Greaves had thrown her against a wall and was coming after her. Her voice turned high-pitched and she screamed just before the line went dead.Killer had obsession with devilOfficers arrived at the scene, 2100 block Fallen Timber Drive, within a minute or so of the call to 911. They found Tierney's body outside on the ground and Greaves' body in his front doorway.Tierney had been struck by bullets multiple times, and she also had injuries to her stomach and chest.Huffman believes the pair struggled in their living room before Greaves brought out the gun."There was some type of physical altercation that carried outside. The blood trail indicates (Tierney) went from the front of the house and headed west over to the neighbor's yard," Huffman said.Officers aren't yet sure exactly when or where Tierney was shot, but Huffman did say there were indications the weapon was fired at close range.Greaves' revolver could hold seven bullets at a time, and Huffman said all seven had been fired.Police recovered multiple spent rounds and bullet fragments and will send them to the state crime lab for testing. Officers also hope to go through both Tierney and Greaves' cell phones.Officers are still waiting to speak with family members about the couple's history, but believe they've been dating since summer of 2015.Tierney had a previous address of Toledo, and Greaves at one point lived in Norwalk.Past violenceGreaves was convicted of domestic violence once in 2002 and once in 2007, according to Norwalk Municipal Court records. He was ordered to undergo six months of anger control counseling for the first offense, then six months of anger control and substance abuse counseling for the second offense.As a result of that 2007 case, Greaves was further ordered to not touch or possess a gun for two years.Huffman said there was a large gun safe in the home that belonged to Tierney, but authorities have not looked inside. Police also learned Greaves may have been in possession of acquaintances' guns, but that has yet to be confirmed as well.In her 911 call, Tierney was frantic."He's (expletive) drunk and going ballistic, as always — every (expletive) weekend I've got to deal with this," Tierney told dispatchers.Police found open containers of beer and Mike's Hard Lemonade in the couple's living room. Officers believe Greaves and Tierney were drinking Saturday night, but the autopsy reports will provide a better indication of how much they'd consumed.Officers also believe the pair was spending the night in together, as Greaves was found in his socks, and Tierney in her pajamas."Their neighbors all said that (Greaves) pretty much kept to himself and didn't really talk to neighbors that much. None reported hearing yelling or domestic disputes," Huffman said.On Sunday morning, some neighbors said they did hear muffled gunshots, but none indicated they heard the pair arguing prior to that.When officers searched the Fallen Timber Drive home, they found multiple swords mounted around the house and a shrine to Satan, Huffman said."Right now, my focus is the assault itself and the domestic (nature) of it. He was pretty private about the Satan stuff — even though he bragged on Facebook, no one living around him had any indication he was into that. At this point, we're looking at the facts and evidence, and what happened with the domestic situation," Huffman said.
