Woman arrested for prostitution

SANDUSKY — Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Cedar Point employee Thursday afternoon for soliciting prostitution.Brianna R. Clark, 19, of Detroit, faces a third-degree misdemeanor offense after she allegedly offered to perform a sex act in exchange for money.Detectives with the sheriff's office were conducting an online prostitution investigation when they allegedly found Clark, using a false name, "promoting herself as a prostitute" on the classifieds website backpage.com, according to Chief Deputy Jared Oliver.An undercover member of the sheriff's office contacted Clark, and she agreed to perform oral sex for a $60 fee, Oliver said.Clark and the undercover deputy arranged to meet today at a restaurant's parking lot on Fifth Street and Cedar Point Drive, and deputies arrested her at the scene.A Cedar Point spokesman said the park "does not comment on personnel matters."Clark will be arraigned Thursday morning in the Sandusky municipal court.Reach reporter Brandon Addeo at brandonaddeo@sanduskyregister.com, follow him on Twitter @BrandonAddeo and follow the Register at Facebook.com/SanduskyRegisterClarke, Brianna
