Computer lab lauded by many

SANDUSKY — On Wednesday, many people, including those representing the Greater Sandusky Partnership, attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Sandusky High School's new computer science lab. The partnership described this lab as "a state-of-the-art space designed to prepare students for careers in tech." A $741,500 grant, coming from the Ohio Career Technical Education Equipment Grant Program, covered costs. "This new lab expands the school's career technical education computer science program," according to the partnership. "The program supports careers aligned with Ohio's top jobs list and helps students earn valuable industry-recognized credentials. This investment will strengthen our local talent pipeline." By equipping students with real-world skills and credentials, "Sandusky High School is helping ensure students are prepared for opportunities in technology and innovation," the partnership noted. "Congratulations to the leadership, educators and students at Sandusky High School on this incredible milestone. We're excited to see the impact this lab will have on talent development for years to come."
