Wine, dine with humane society

SANDUSKY — Wine and dine all to make a difference. The Wine & Whiskers Fundraiser — scheduled for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Venue 634, 634 Columbus Ave., Sandusky — supports the Humane Society of Erie County. "Join us for an evening of small bites paired with five different wines," according to an event statement. "Feline friends from the humane society will join us at the beautiful Venue 634." Each ticket costs $65, however, 100% of the proceeds benefit the humane society. During the event, people can: • Receive five wine pours with tasting notes • Sample small bite pairings from Sweet Potato Catering • Visit a grazing station • Indulge in sweets and soft drinks • Take part in a silent auction, which can be accessed beforehand by visiting secure.qgiv.com/event/winewhiskers. This is where people also can purchase tickets, which are required to attend. "Grab your friends for a great night out for a great cause," according to the statement, adding how, "Proceeds will go directly to the feline medical fund at the Humane Society of Erie County."
