Magruder, again, aces mammography review

PORT CLINTON — Magruder Hospital recently announced that its mammography services have, once again, passed the annual U.S. Food & Drug Administration Mammography Quality Standards Act inspection with zero deficiencies. This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year the department has received a perfect review. "This outstanding performance underscores the consistent excellence and unwavering commitment of the mammography team: Sarah Kraus, Emily Meyer and Melanie Smith," according to a statement from the Port Clinton-based hospital. "Their dedication to meeting and exceeding the (administration's) rigorous daily requirements ensures the highest quality of patient care and imaging services." Robin Lemley, Magruder's ancillary services senior director, beamed with pride when speaking about this achievement for four years running now. "Our team's diligence in maintaining quality standards, meeting credentialing requirements, tracking interpretation volumes, completing continuing education and performing daily monitor quality control testing for each radiologist is extraordinary," Lemley said. "The workload is substantial, and their precision and professionalism make achievements like this possible."
