VERMILION — A long-distance runner attempting to cross all 50 states on foot passed through Vermilion on Wednesday, drawing a brief police escort and a steady stream of well-wishers along Liberty Avenue (U.S. 6) Noah Coughlan is currently on what he describes as his final transcontinental project, known as Run For America, a 5,500-mile journey across 20 states over roughly 260 days.
