Milan-Berlin libraries announce Feb. events

MILAN — The Milan-Berlin Library District is inviting community members to warm up this February with a full calendar of programs for children, teens and adults. Here are some featured events with excerpts about each one provided by the district: • What's Cooking? Potluck | Chocolate: 6-7 p.m. on Monday at the Milan Public Library, 19 Church St. — "Food lovers are invited to share a favorite chocolate-themed dish during this monthly potluck." Registration is required. • Mellow Monday: 3-4 p.m. on various Mondays — Feb. 2, 9 and 23 — at the Berlin Heights Public Library, 4 E. Main St. — "A relaxed after-school program featuring crafts, games and time to unwind for ages 8 to 14." • Enchanted pages & Charming Crafts: 11 a.m. to noon on Feb. 7 at Milan Public Library — "A romantasy-themed adult book club discussing "Legends and Lattes" by Travis Baldree, paired with a coffee mug craft. • Paws & Pages: 3:30-4 p.m. on Feb. 19 at Berlin Heights Public Library — "Teens can practice reading aloud with therapy dogs Daisy and Gordie." • Technology Assistance Open Hours: 1-5 p.m. on Feb. 17 at Milan Public Library — "One-on-one help with smartphones, eBooks, digital streaming and more."
