Russell's revered by locals

This is one of several businesses the agency recently highlighted. BELLEVUE — For more than 40 years, Russell's Flowers, Garden Center & Gifts has been a cornerstone of small-town life in Bellevue. What started in 1980 next to Roger and Janet Russell's home has blossomed into a thriving family business that now spans three generations. Josh and Karen Russell today proudly carry on the Russell legacy, officially taking ownership almost exactly one year ago. Though the business has grown and evolved, its roots remain the same: a deep commitment to quality, service and treating people well. Under one roof, Russell's operates as a greenhouse and garden center, full-service florist and gift shop, offering everything from vibrant flowers and custom arrangements to locally inspired home décor. The greenhouse remains the heart of the business, known for its personal touch and expert advice that customers can't find at big-box stores. Community connection has always been part of the Russell DNA. The business supports countless local causes, from school programs and fundraisers to the beloved Bellevue Holiday House and gives back generously to the people who've supported them for decades. To kick off the holiday season, Russell's hosted its annual Christmas open house. It occurred during the weekend of Thanksgiving and featured festive decor, snacks, door prizes and plenty of holiday spirit. It served as a perfect way to celebrate Small Business Saturday, shop local and enjoy the warmth of a family-run business that's been growing together with the community since 1980.
