Come walk through state theater

SANDUSKY — The Sandusky State Theatre is opening its doors to the community for a festive community walkthrough. It's scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the theater — 107 Columbus Ave., Sandusky — and everyone is invited to join in for some holiday cheer. Families, friends and neighbors are encouraged to stop by the historic theater for a joyful morning filled with community connection, seasonal spirit and a special appearance by Santa Claus himself. Guests will have an opportunity to meet Santa, snap photos and share their holiday wishes while exploring the progress on restoring the theatre's beautiful auditorium. "Our community has been the heart of the Sandusky State Theatre for generations," according to a statement from the state theater's leadership team. "This walkthrough is our way of bringing everyone together to celebrate the season and the exciting future ahead." The event is free and open to all ages.
