SANDUSKY — Experience the magic of the Sandusky Christmas Market, filled with artisan vendors, festive foods, live entertainment, kids' activities and special events during its final weekend to close out the 2025 season. Just like the past two weekends, it'll occur in and around Schade-Mylander Plaza in downtown Sandusky. Rooted in community spirit and inspired by the legacy of Jimm Corso, the market brings people together to celebrate creativity, kindness and all the things that make our community shine. Corso, who passed away in 2020, was deeply devoted to his community. His legacy lives on through his entire family, who were all raised with the values he instilled: hard work, integrity and giving back. Those who knew him admired his generosity, his commitment to others and his belief in strengthening the community. His family today continues to honor his spirit by supporting and uplifting the community he loved so much. See the schedule After a successful first two weekends, many family-friendly activities, events and vendors are scheduled to take place: Friday, Dec. 12 • 5-8 p.m. — Paul Frank on the main stage • 6-7:30 p.m. — "Frozen" characters Anna and Olaf throughout the market • 6:30-7:30 p.m. —Mighty Ligress Aloft stilt walker throughout the market Saturday, Dec. 13 • All afternoon — Deutsche Volkstanz Gruppe, a German dance group, on the main stage • Noon to 1 p.m. — Santa Claus on the main stage • 1 p.m. — The Traveling Troubadors on the main stage • 1-4 p.m. — Kids activities and cookie decorating at the Mylander Pavilion • 2 p.m. — DJ Manny on the main stage • 4:30 p.m. — Sandus-Keynotes on the main stage • 5 p.m. — Huron High School Troubadors on the main stage • 6 p.m. — DJ Manny on the main stage • 6-7 p.m. — Mighty Ligress Aloft stilt walker throughout the market • 7 p.m. — Fireworks Young professionals to pop out This weekend, amid market festivities, those representing the North Coast Young Professionals aim to bring community members together for Family Fun Service Day. It's a free, family-friendly event packed with festive activities and seasonal cheer. Open to everyone, the event offers an afternoon for families to gather and celebrate the spirit of the holidays. It takes place from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday at Mylander Pavilion. Activities for all ages include decorating sugar cookies, visiting the hot chocolate bar and exploring holiday crafts and coloring stations. The celebration is made possible through partnerships with Sandusky Christmas Market, the Sandusky Library, Elements Bakery and Sweet Cheekz Cafe N Bistro.
