Olde Fashioned Christmas coming to Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR — The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the annual Oak Harbor Olde Fashioned Christmas. For 2025, it's scheduled from 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the downtown area. "This magical hometown tradition is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with family, friends and neighbors," according to a chamber statement. Event highlights include: • 5 p.m. — A fire truck parade through town with Santa and Mrs. Claus • 6 p.m. — The tree-lighting ceremony • Throughout the night: People can visit the Log Cabin to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, Perfect Imperfections for free cookies, Wild Brew for free hot cocoa, Designs by Marie for a free ornament, Oak Harbor Family Eyecare for a free craft, Riverside Roost for a free coloring activity and the post office for popcorn. People can also stop by Swig Shuttles for the Stuff-a-Bus toy drive and listen to live music by The River. People can also stop by the Log Cabin to receive a punch card to visit these aforementioned places. "Mark your calendars, bundle up and help us celebrate the joy of Christmas the old-fashioned way," the statement read.
