RECURRING EVENTS Sandusky • Lights on the NorthCoast: From 5:30 – 9 p.m., every day until New Years Eve, at the Erie County Fairgrounds located at 3110 Columbus Avenue. Jingle Bell Rock towards Lights on the NorthCoast's Christmas Drive-thru light display and Interactive Walk-thru light display. There will be an epic amount of over 1 million lights. Also join in on the holiday fun with indoor Christmas-themed putt-putt, Christmas Village, food trucks, and much more. • After School Snacks: From 4-4:45 p.m. every weekday, the Sandusky Library will host snacktime for anyone under 18. No registration is required. • Breakfast Buddies: From 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., every other Thursday, at the Campbell Christian Community Center, located at 1215 Campbell Street. Enjoy a free morning made just for parents, grandparents and their preschool or younger little ones. Each week features a fun theme with breakfast, fun crafts, hands-on activities, interactive storytimes, and free diapers and wipes to take home. The Blue House Farm Market is back for its second season. This event is an indoor, wintertime farm market featuring local growers, bakers, artisans and makers from the Sandusky and surrounding areas. Experience electrifying nights with LED lights, lasers and high-energy dance music spun by a live DJ. Dress in your favorite neon or glow-in-the-dark apparel. Jump passes start at $15, but there is no additional ticket cost to attend the Glow Party. • Songs of Thanksgiving: Beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 4 p.m., on Sunday, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, located at 510 Columbus Avenue. The annual Songs of Thanksgiving concerts are a special musical experience celebrating the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday through beautiful choral works and stories. This year's program theme is "From Hope, Gratitude": acclaim through musical scenes the hope and gratitude of family and friendship found during this special time of year. General admission seating is $35 for adults and $5 for youth and college students. Norwalk • Storytime: Every Thursday from 10:30 – 11 a.m., at the Norwalk Public Library located at 46 W. Main Street. Encourage a love of reading and learning as we introduce your little one to books, rhymes and songs. Geared towards ages birth to 5. No registration required. Port Clinton • Eddie's Winter Wonderland: 5 – 9 p.m., Sunday – Thursday, and 5 – 10 p.m., Friday – Saturday, at Fast Eddie's Sports Park, located at 280 S.E. Catawba Road. This Winter we are once again converting our beautiful miniature golf course into a fully playable walk-through holiday light experience. Families of all ages can experience a beautiful, interactive, holiday experience unlike any other in the area. Including a Santa's Workshop that will offer holiday craft tables, s'more kits, fire pits, hot cocoa, hot adult beverages, holiday character visits, and of course Santa. Proceeds will benefit the Ottawa County Workforce Hub for Career Advancement. Weekdays are $12 for adults and $8 for kids, and weekends are $15 for adults and $11 for kids. • Afternoon Storytime: From 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. every Thursday at Ida Rupp Public Library located at 310 Madison Street. If you can't make it to the regular Tuesday morning story time, join the library for a half hour afternoon story time to enjoy stories, music, movement, crafts, activities, and socialization. In case you have older children who need to be picked up from the elementary school, we plan to wrap up in time to get in line for after school pickup. There is no registration required. • Slater's Famous Jazz Night: Every Wednesday from 6:30-9:30 p.m., Slater's Food and Spirits, 1634 E. Perry St., will host live jazz music. Huron • Osborn MetroPark parkrun: Parkrun is a timed 5K walk/jog/run happening every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave. The event is free and open to all ages; people are welcome to bring their strollers or dogs. Registration is required and can be done at parkrun.us/register. • I Can't BeLeaf It's Fall: From noon – 1 p.m., at the Roger Johnson Nature Center located at 3910 Perkins Avenue. Join the MetroParks every Saturday in November for a relaxing autumn activity. Take a short hike and collect colorful autumn leaves to press and preserve. Hosted by Work Space in collaboration with the Erie County Community Foundation, this event is a day full of gratitude and inspiration to celebrate the incredible impact of the local nonprofit community. Come for some or all. Pop in for a session, co-work, take a tour, or join the Work Space Team for the coffee or open house at the tail ends of the day. Attendees will earn raffle entries for the chance to win gift baskets, two hours of free conference room and auditorium use, or memberships at Work Space. There is no cost to attend. Bellevue • KPop Demon Hunters Glow Night: From 5 – 8 p.m., at Jungle Junction Play, located at 110 Cherry Blvd. Music from the hit Netflix show will be bumping during this glow party night plus Gaga ball in the party room. Dress as your favorite character for the costume contest. Admission is $6 for ages 2 and older. Fremont • Pink Friday: All day, at various locations in the downtown business district. Presented by Downtown Fremont Inc., this event invites you to come to support small first. Pink Friday is a nationwide event dedicated to celebrating and supporting small and local businesses. While you are enjoying the sales and wonderful holiday atmosphere, vote for your favorite merchant's window decorating on Facebook at Downtown Fremont and enter their "Shop Small Drawing" where we will be drawing a name every week for four weeks for a "Think Fremont" community card. There is no cost to attend. Helena • Pink Friday: From 1 – 8 p.m., at Chateau Winery and Vineyard, located at 525 SR 635. Get ready to GLOW Crazy at Helena's PINK Friday Celebration this year. Don't miss out on the fun. There is no cost to attend. SATURDAY Sandusky • Maritime Lecture Series: From 9 – 10 a.m., at the Maritime Museum of Sandusky, located at 125 Meigs Street. The topic of this lecture series is "The Fewer, the Prouder: Women in the USMC." From the U.S.S. Constitution to Abbey Gate, featured speaker Sarah Westrick will cover key pivotal moments for women in the united States Marine Corps. Special attention will be paid to the early days of the First and Second World Wars, the journey from reservists to full-fledged Marines and the path into combat forged during the Global War on Terror. Uniforms and artifacts will be available to examine. Stop by for coffee and donuts in person, included with Museum admission (free for members) or watch at home online. • Swiftie Saturday: From 10 – 11 a.m., at the Sandusky Library located at 114 W. Adams Street. Jam out to Taylor Swift while participating in fun activities that every young Swiftie fan will love. There is no cost to attend or registration required. • Harvest Run: From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Mad River Harley-Davidson located at 5316 Milan Road. Help launch a new tradition by joining Mad River Harley-Davidson for an In-Store Poker Run benefiting Victory Kitchen this holiday season. Registration and first card pull will take place at 11 a.m., last hand turned in at 4 p.m., and winners announced at 4:15 p.m. The cost to participate is $10 and all proceeds benefit Victory Kitchen. Even though your entry fee goes directly to Victory Kitchen, Mad River Harley-Davidson encourages all riders to bring canned goods to help stock the shelves, if the weather permits, we'll finish the day with a police-escorted ride to deliver the canned food donations. • Santa's Arrival: From 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Sandusky Mall, located at 4314 Milan Road. Santa is coming to town, don't miss his arrival at the mall. There will be a love reindeer in front of the mall, and face painting, coloring activities and free cookie dough and cocoa in center court. At 10:45 a.m., Santa will arrive via a firetruck and make his way inside for visits. There is no cost to attend but there are fees for picture packages. • Heartbeat Sandusky- Canvas Night: From 8 – 10 p.m. at The Emporium located at 314 W. Market Street. Join The Emporium Saturday for an unforgettable evening of music, food, art, and community impact with all net proceeds benefiting the United Way. Featuring local mural artists Derek Brennan, Kylee Frederix and Darian Shepherd, alongside hospitality guests Li Yu and Sara Yu of Sora & Oak Sushi, who will share their creative journeys and inspirations. The event will also feature DJ Chosen, food trucks, vendors, raffles, merchandise and a 'Dress to Impress' contest. The first 25 dressed-up ladies get in free and the crowd favorite wins $100 cash. There is a $10 cover charge. Fremont • Christmas Kick-Off Craft Show: From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at Sandusky County Fairgrounds, located at 901 Rawson Avenue. Sandusky County's biggest and best craft show will feature more than 100 vendors in two different buildings, food trucks and unique gifts and goodies for everyone. Vermilion • Holiday Open House: From noon – 8 p.m., at 685 Main Street. The Arts Guild of Vermilion & Main Street Vermilion invite you to enjoy a holiday drink and treat while shopping the gallery. The event will feature local artists, one of a kind gifts, fine art, gifts, jewelry and more. There is no cost to attend. TUESDAY Elmore • Stranger Things Craft and Trivia Night: From 5:30 – 7 p.m., at Harris-Elmore Public Library, located at 328 Toledo Street. Step into the Upside Down as we celebrate the new season of Stranger Things. Spend the evening making themed crafts inspired by Hawkins and its strange happenings—then put your knowledge to the test with fun trivia questions asked throughout the night.
