All aboard the Polar Emporium Express

SANDUSKY — The Emporium at West Market Street is set to debut what's known as the Polar Emporium Express, "Sandusky's all-weather indoor market and venue where warmth meets wonder," according to a company statement. "Winter shopping should be filled with joy, not frostbite," the statement read. "Browse and mingle in a cozy space while discovering the talents that make our community shine." Here are the details: • When: From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. beginning on Nov. 29 and spanning through Dec. 31; It will be open until 10 p.m. during select evening events. • Where: It'll occur at The Emporium at West Market Street, 314 W. Market St., Sandusky. It's beside the Sandusky Register offices. • What: The Polar Emporium Express will be "celebrating local creativity, craftsmanship and community spirit," the statement read. "Amid twinkling lights, the scent of hot cocoa and the hum of cheerful music, you'll find a wonderland of handcrafted gifts, art and festive treats — all under one warm, welcoming roof." • Who: There will be multiple vendors set up to sell goods. The Emporium, in fact, put out a call for all makers, artists and small businesses. "This season, vend for free or take part in no-cost consignment — our heartfelt way of giving back and helping small creators thrive through the holidays." • More: At these events, there will be "warm drinks, live entertainment and family fun (all to) complete the experience, making Polar Emporium Express the perfect destination for shoppers and sellers alike," the statement read.
