Pop out to 'Peter Pan' production

MILAN TWP. — Edison High School's drama club will perform its fall play "Peter Pan, Non-Flying Version" at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the high school's auditorium, 2603 Ohio 113, Milan. The story is written by J.M. Barrie and adapted by Jon Jory. The play follows Wendy Darling, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell and their adventures in Neverland. Here's a club statement to preview this production: As the play opens, we are introduced to Mrs. Darling (Ilah Reynolds, senior) and Mr. Darling (Tyler Pounds, senior) who are the parents of Wendy (Lani Tessaro, sophomore). Soon after Mr. and Mrs. Darling leave for the evening, Peter Pan (Cody Pennell, junior) sneaks through the window looking for his fairy, Tinker Bell (Lily Davis, sophomore). Wendy flies with Peter out to Neverland where she meets the Lost Boys: Tootles (Kelsey Wentz, junior), Slightly (Izzy Fisher, freshman), Nibs (Caleb Jeremay, junior) and Curly (Dravyn DeLeon, junior), who are in need of a mother. Wendy decides to take on the role. Meanwhile Captain Rosie Suellen Hook (Becca Aguilar, sophomore) is plotting with her pirate crew Smee (Reynolds), Cecco (Hannah Whiteman, sophomore), Skylight (Lexi Leber, freshman), and Silence (Joy Jordan, senior) to take down her two greatest enemies. Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. All ticket sales are general admission, and tickets will be available at the door beginning 45 minutes before each performance. The public is invited to attend.
