Schoen to provide women's health, prenatal care

SANDUSKY — The Erie County Health Department / Erie County Community Health Center recently announced the addition of Hannah Schoen to its team of dedicated health care providers. A local native, Schoen is a family nurse practitioner and is now accepting new patients across all ages. She has a specialization in women's health and prenatal care. The addition of Schoen strengthens the agency's commitment to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care across its service area. Schoen is no stranger to the health department's / community health center's patients. During clinical rotations, Schoen worked at the agency, providing care to individuals throughout the region. With her specialized background, she will be instrumental in expanding essential women's health services to residents in Erie, Huron, and Ottawa counties. While Hannah brings specialized expertise in women's health and pediatrics, she is also accepting new and established patients for the full spectrum of family practice needs. This includes routine check-ups, chronic disease management, and acute care for patients of all ages, ensuring comprehensive health care access for the entire community. Schoen brings a strong clinical and academic background to the center. She is a graduate of the Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing, earned a bachelor of science in nursing from Bowling Green State University and also earned her master of science in nursing from The University of Cincinnati. Her professional nursing experience includes vital work in post-operative and labor and delivery settings, providing a comprehensive and compassionate foundation for her role as a family nurse practitioner.
