Before visiting these establishments on Tuesday for Veterans Day, keep in mind a few items: • Most businesses require proof of military service, so it's a good idea to bring credible veteran identification. • Not all franchise locations participate in their national chain's Veterans Day programs. To be certain, contact the individual establishment ahead of time. • Almost all of these deals require people to dine in unless otherwise noted. • The deals occur on Tuesday for Veterans Day. Deals and discounts Here's a list of the nationwide deals and discounts as verified and published by military.com and other sources: • Applebee's — Active-duty military and veterans get a free meal from a select menu. • Biggby Coffee — Veterans and active-duty service members get a discounted 16-ounce beverage. • Bob Evans — Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select menu. • Buffalo Wild Wings — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries. • Chili's — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal from a select menu. • Chipotle — Veterans who order an in-restaurant entree will receive a second entree for free. • Circle K — Veterans get a free medium hot or iced coffee. • Cracker Barrel — Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free Sunrise Pancake Special. • Denny's — From 5 a.m. to noon, veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a free Original Grand Slam breakfast. • Famous Dave's — Veterans get a free Georgia chopped pork sandwich with a choice of a side. • Golden Corral — Starting at 4 p.m. Golden Corral is hosting its Military Appreciation Night. This includes a free meal for military members. • Little Caesars — From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., veterans and active-duty military can receive a complimentary lunch combo. • LongHorn Steakhouse —Veterans and active-duty military get 10% off their meals along with a free appetizer or dessert.
