Nunsense is a musical comedy written by Dan Groggin and follows The Little Sisters of Hoboken when they discover that their cook, Sister Julia, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The Erie Metro Live Steamers will have miniature steam-powered engines available to pull passengers through the park. This event is free and fun for all. All rides are weather dependent. There is no registration required. Put-in-Bay • Skelly Hunt: All day at various locations across the island. Head over to PIB and try to find as many skeletons as possible at more than 30 participating locations, including some very interesting ones. There might even be a prize at one of the secret locations. There is no cost to participate. SUNDAY Sandusky • 'That's The Spirit' Opening Reception: From 1 – 4 p.m., at the Sandusky Cultural Center inside Sandusky High School at 2130 Hayes Avenue. The inspiration for 'That's The Spirit" is the traditional Yokai and other folk traditions, such as the western cyclids, but we also included fine art with the general atmosphere of the supernatural. Artists were encouraged to research and interpret the theme in their own unique ways, both in two and three dimensional media. Following the reception the exhibit will be viewable Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m., and Wednesdays and Fridays from noon – 3 p.m., until November 16. There is no cost to visit the Cultural Center but donations are always greatly appreciated. • Silly, Spooky, Fun: From 1 – 3 p.m. at Sandusky Book Bar, located at 2101 W. Perkins Avenue. Enjoy the author open house event with Ms Terese, filled with for kids activities, book signings, games, and much more. There is no cost to attend. Milan • Witches Tea and Victorian Tea Leave Reading: From 2 – 5 p.m. at the Milan Museum, located at 10 Edison Drive. Step into a world of magic, mystery, and Victorian charm this Halloween season with two special events. Presented by Tea Time Tiffin, the afternoon begins with a whimsical gathering perfect for all ages. Guests are encouraged to don their most enchanting attire—pointy hats, capes, and all—as they enjoy hauntingly delicious treats and tea. A playful tea-time etiquette lesson will reveal the secrets to becoming a good witch - brooms are welcome. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children. Following that event, the museum transforms for the Victorian Tea Leaf Reading Class. This hands-on experience introduces participants to the centuries-old ritual of the art of reading tea leaves. Guests will sip and swirl their cups while learning how to uncover hidden messages and mysteries within the leaves. Open to ages 12 years and up, tickets are $20 for adults (18 years and older) and $15 for youth (12-17 years). Seating is limited for both events and reservations are required. TUESDAY Sandusky • Where is the No. 2? : From noon – 1 p.m., at the Sandusky Library, located at 114 W. Adams Street. On Tuesday, December 7, 1909, the railroad car ferry "Marquette and Bessemer No.2" left Conneaut, Ohio sailing into a brutal winter storm from which no one would return. Visit with Author Thomas Adams and hear his take on one of the longest enduring mysteries on the Great Lakes. There is no cost to attend. Huron • Park Pals: From 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., at Roger Johnson Nature Center inside Osborn MetroPark, located at 3910 Perkins Avenue. Come learn about Ohio's native species and their seeds. You will read a story, take a walk (weather permitting), and make a craft. Must be accompanied by an adult, intended for ages 4 – 6 years of age, but siblings are welcome. WEDNESDAY Sandusky • Paranormal- The Pursuit of the Afterlife: From 6 – 7 p.m., at the Sandusky Library, located at 114 W. Adams Street. Explore the paranormal in this informative presentation by the Ohio Researchers of Banded Spirits. ORBS will cover everything from who they are, why they got started, types of Spirits, equipment they use, how you can get started and some of the most compelling evidence they have recorded over 18 years investigating the paranormal. ORBS has been one of Ohio's top paranormal teams for more than 18 years and have worked on well over 450 cases to date. They have been featured on many television shows, the latest one was Travel Channel's "Haunted Case Files." There is no cost to attend. • Clay Ghost Canvas: From 6 – 7 p.m., at Venue 634 located at 634 Columbus Avenue. Unleash your spooky creativity with Stick it Babe when you craft your own ghostly scene using air-dry clay, infused with a hint of Halloween magic.
