Vermilion man faces felony pandering charge

SANDUSKY — A Vermilion man was indicted on a felony this month on a charge relating to alleged child pornography.An Erie County grand jury indicted Benjamin Dombrowski, 80, of Coen Road, on one count of third-degree felony attempted pandering obscenity involving a minor.The indictment alleges that on Sept. 19, 2018, Dombrowski did "attempt to create, reproduce or publish obscene material that has a minor as one of its participants or portrayed observers."Erie County deputies arrested Dombrowski March 15, and he was released on a $20,000 bond March 20, according to Erie County jail and court records.Dombrowski doesn't appear to have a prior criminal record in Erie County.
