Lauding LogistiQ's growth

PORT CLINTON — Many officials — including those representing the Ottawa County Improvement Corp, the Regional Growth Partnership of Northwest Ohio and JobsOhio — met up at LogistiQ as part of their Advanced Manufacturing Day. "LogistiQ is making big strides in the e-commerce material handling world, growing from just 86 employees in 2021 to now more than 670 employees, making them the third-largest employer in Ottawa County," according to a corporation statement. "Their focus on full-service customer support — from planning and design to fabrication, installation and service — has fueled this incredible expansion." Established in 2021, LogistiQ has transformed a 750,000-square-foot facility at the former World War II Army depot into a state-of-the-art operation with advanced equipment, like robotic welding, automated lasers and complete assembly under one roof. "We're excited to witness this impressive growth taking place right here in Ottawa County," the corporation noted.
