OSU's marching band to perform locally

SANDUSKY — For Ohio State fans, there are plenty of reasons to be thankful. For instance, the reigning, defending champions of college football remain undefeated this season. And, for those living in and around Sandusky, they can take in another formidable team branded in Buckeyes gear. On Friday, Nov. 28 — one day after Thanksgiving and one day prior to Ohio State traveling to Michigan and facing the Wolverines, arguably college football's greatest rivalry — "The Best Damn Band in the Land" will make a detour to Sandusky High School for a performance inside the gym. Announced earlier this week, it's being hosted by the Erie County Alumni Club, a branch of Ohio State's Alumni Association. In the past, these performances occurred at the Sandusky-area Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. The greater Sandusky area serves as almost a halfway point between Columbus and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
