FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Hohler, Staley lead Huron past PC, 35-21

HURON — Huron got big nights from Landon Hohler and Caleb Staley to defeat Port Clinton 35-21 on Friday. Huron improved to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division while PC dropped to 3-3, 0-1. Tigers quarterback Landon Hohler threw three touchdown passes and ran for a score. Caleb Staley caught a 21-yard touchdown passes for the game's first score and added a 51-yard pick-6 in the second quarter. PC pulled to within 28-21 before Hohler's one-yard run sealed the win for Huron. Huron travels to Bellevue on Friday while PC plays at Vermilion.
