BERLIN HEIGHTS — Whether you're looking for Halloween thrills, cozy autumn vibes or just a good book, the Milan-Berlin Library District has something for everyone this October. Church St., Milan Featured events • Ghosts of the Civil War: Shades of Blue and Gray — From 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9 in Milan; A theatrical storytelling event featuring ghost tales from across the South and Midwest. • Wicked Cleveland with Jane Turzillo — From noon to 1 p.m. on Oct. 11 in Berlin Heights; Award-winning true crime author explores Cleveland's gritty and lawless past. • Pop-Up Cafe: Taste of Fall — From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 18 in Berlin Heights; Enjoy seasonal treats and community conversation at this cozy all-ages gathering. • Halloween Costume Party — From 11 a.m. to noon on Oct. 25 in Milan: Games, goodies and prizes await at this costume contest for children of all ages. • Alien Invasion at the Library — From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 in Milan; Teens can create alien specimen jars, try extraterrestrial makeup and enjoy themed snacks.
